SDG 5: GENDER QUALITY

Women and girls continue to suffer discrimination and violence in every part of the world. Gender equality is a fundamental human right, and a foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. Providing women and girls with equal access to education is a key part of delivering gender equality, but universities also have a wider role to drive forward gender equality in their communities.

Student access measures

UI admission has a very high level of difficulty that only 5% out of all applicants are accepted every year. In detail, there are 5,000 out of 200,000 applicants accepted every year. UI realizes the significance of post graduate program, and it is expected that more than 50% of freshmen are from magister and doctoral program. UI has graduated more doctors than other universities, both in Indonesia and South East Asia.
