Universitas Indonesia Student Executive Board (BEM UI) is a student-led organization that provides a platform for students at UI to express themselves. In general, BEM has various departments to implement its programs. The president and vice-president of BEM UI are chosen annually through the University of Indonesia's student elections, known as Pemira UI. This electoral process empowers the students with the right to vote for their preferred candidates for the positions of president and vice president of BEM UI.
