Universitas Indonesia is very supportive of its teaching staff working remotely at home or other non-office places by making use of the university’s information system. The online learning process uses platforms like Emas (E-learning Management System) or other applications subscribed by UI (e.g. Microsoft Teams). Aside from that, UI also develops an information system called HRIS (Human Resources Information System) , whose one of its features is attendance record via HRIS’ system of the “greatday-HR” application. Furthermore, the job administration is conducted through UI’s information system called “kelola”. For correspondence, UI develops “Andini”, which is a correspondence system that allows digital signature. By using “Andini”, the work units of the university can correspond and sign documents digitally to ease operation.
Universitas Indonesia has a system for online students and lectures, EMAS (E-learning Management Systems) is a distance learning system for UI students and lecturers that can be accessed via the website https://emas.ui.ac.id. EMAS has a total class of almost 4130 classes and a total of 5381 courses. With the number of EMAS users, 1420 lecturers and 42748 students.
